The JITO USA San Francisco chapter hosted its annual Ahimsa Run for Peace for Non-Violence in celebration of JITO Foundation Day (March 20). This free 5K event brought together 130+ participants β adults, children, and families β all united in promoting the values of peace and ahimsa. The vibrant energy reflected the communityβs growing enthusiasm for this meaningful initiative. β¨
π€ΈββοΈ The morning began with a group stretching session, setting a positive and energetic tone.
πββοΈ At 9:00 AM, participants of all ages set off with excitement, filling the park with unity and purpose. It was inspiring to see not just the Jain community, but also non-Jains come together for the universal message of non-violence. π
β After the run, everyone enjoyed snacks and warm chai, creating a welcoming space for connection. Families and friends bonded while meeting new people, strengthening the sense of community. π€
π We extend our gratitude to Arihanta Institute ( www.arihantainstitute.org) and their team for joining us in this memorable event.
