ABOUT JITO

The Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) was founded in 2007 in India as a global organization made up of visionary Jain industrialists, business persons and professionals. JITO is a multi-stakeholder community of successful Jain business entrepreneurs and professionals working together for the common purpose of growth, economic empowerment and social service.

JITO USA was founded in 2017, as an extension of the initiatives and services of the parent organization, in the United States. JITO USA is registered as a 501(c)(6) Not-For-Profit professional organization, which operates as a bipartisan non-political organization.

The umbrella organization, JITO (India), was incorporated in 2007 and is registered under Section 25 of the Companies Act of India, 1956 (now Section 8 of the New Companies Act, 2013). In less than a decade JITO has grown to almost 100 Chapters across the world.

OUR VISION

JITO endeavors to bring together an array of knowledge, experience and insight through its members, for the common purpose of business growth, economic empowerment and social service.

OUR OBJECTIVES

Create a body of prominent and successful professionals, industrialists, entrepreneurs and business persons that connects beyond boundaries for the noble causes of economic and social development.

Provide a robust networking platform that will enable its members to take advantage of the synergy of individuals’ core competencies and leverage the power of connectivity.

JITO USA will promote and protect the interests of its members by inspiring excellence through programs and initiatives in advocacy, industry leadership, professional development, and community involvement.

ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT (AARTHIK SASHAKTIKARAN): Promote governance based on democratic processes that ensure equality, right conduct and value-oriented decision making. Encourage members to proactively participate in, contribute towards, and represent organizational values at the business, political, governmental, social, legal and industry platforms.

EDUCATION (SHIKSHA): Promote, facilitate and foster education, academia and mentorship at a national and global level. Networking, professional growth and knowledge-sharing are key initiatives in JITO.

SERVICE (SEVA): Support our local, regional and national communities through humanitarian, civic and charitable projects.
