WashingtonDC Annoucement

Since the Chapter launch the following Initiatives have been launched:

  • JITO USA Washington DC Public Affairs (JPA)
  • JITO USA Washington DC Professional/Leadership Forum (JLF) 
  • JITO USA Washington Networking Forum (JNF)
  • JITO USA Washington Women's Forum (JWF)
  • JITO USA Future Jain Leadership Program (FJLP)

Each Initiative is executed by it's committee.  Each committee comprised of Committee Chair and Co-chair and it's team members. To explore and participate further about these initiatives you are welcome to join chapter's monthly meeting. 

Chapter's Current Initiatives:

JITO USA Washington DC Public Affairs (JPA)

Advocate with state and local elected officials to promote domestic policies and pass legislation that supports JITO's agenda. Mobilize government lobbying efforts for favorable trade, immigration and business policy for JITO members. Prepare and promote future generations of Jains for US Civil and Foreign Services and political positions. Organize high-level meetings with top business leaders and government officials to plan strategic, long-term trade and diplomatic policies on the critical issues affecting our respective professional and business members.

JITO USA Washington DC Professional/Leadership Forum (JLF) 

Facilitate a network of business professionals to achieve higher economic growth and prosperity. Co-create employment and internship opportunities and job banks for graduates and working professionals. Provide platform for collaboration and exchange of ideas. Enhance and foster collaboration between Jain business persons and professionals across the USA.

JITO USA Washington Networking Forum (JNF)

This forum aims to promote networking among Jains and provide platform for collaboration and exchange of ideas.  This will help create opportunities for community at large to achieve higher economic prosperity.

JITO USA Washington Women's Forum (JWF)

This forum aims to provide opportunities and create a network of like-minded women, business owners, professional leaders across all areas to promote academic and socio-economic development among Jain Women. This will enhance and foster collaboration between Jain Women across the USA.

  • Support for each other in areas of parenting, mentoring,matrimonial services and promoting Jain way of life.
  • JWF aims to provide opportunities to women of all ages for their personal and professional growth.

JITO USA Future Jain Leadership Program (FJLP)

The Future Jain Leadership Program envisions helping Jain youth define their life mission in alignment with JITO’s principles, including economic empowerment, knowledge, and service. FJLP strives to cultivate a curiosity among Jain youth for ways to improve the status quo.  Through mentorship connections and youth interaction in our community, we hope to foster a collaborative environment from which members can learn and grow with the guidance of their mentors and support of peers.
