Anirudh Bajaj is a Senior Product Manager at Microsoft and the author of Indispensable: Your Career Guide for the Age of AI. At Microsoft, he builds the AI tools that help large companies understand and reskill their people, giving him a rare, front-row view of how AI is actually changing work and how it’s being adopted, not just how it’s hyped. A Wharton MBA with a specialty in data analytics and a knack for illustration and storytelling, he has built original frameworks analyzing how AI will reshape more than 120 occupations, endorsed by leading Wharton faculty and researchers in the Human-AI space. Prior to Microsoft, he spent over five years consulting for leading organisations and holds an engineering degree from BITS Pilani.

As a father of two, he wrote the book as a social initiative to reduce the anxiety about the future. The book is an honest, unbiased guide grounded in data, the latest research, and the reality of adoption today, and offers practical advice on how AI might change how we work and live.
